Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their work and grant JOTS a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, preserve, and identify the article as the version of record.
Authors are responsible for clearing third-party material, including images, tables, figures, maps, datasets, and long quotations, before submission or publication.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and reproduction in any medium or format, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the licence is provided, and changes are indicated.
The copyright holder and CC BY 4.0 licence should appear in article PDFs and article pages. Author self-archiving is permitted when the shared copy identifies the published version, DOI, citation, and licence.
The article licence remains separate from the copyright and terms that apply to the journal website itself.
