Reviewer process
Editors select reviewers with relevant expertise and without known conflicts of interest. Reviewers are asked to evaluate originality, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance, literature engagement, and contribution to the field.
Review content is confidential. Reviewers should not share manuscripts, use unpublished material, or attempt to identify authors.
Decision outcomes

Appeals
Authors may appeal an editorial decision by emailing the editorial office with a concise evidence-based rationale. Appeals are reviewed independently where practical.
